Hi-I am Ludo. I help organizations connect men to gender equity effectively.

Promoting healthy masculinity has been my life’s work for the past decade.

In 2017, I created one of the most disruptive masculinity blog of the #metoo era, wokedaddy.com.

Between 2019 and 2023, I represented The Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) initiative at Catalyst.

I led the creation and production of two global events on masculinity in the workplace: The MARC Summit in 2020 & Real Change with MARC in 2022.

In 2024, I founded Humen Leaders, an advisory practice focused on humanizing narratives about boys and men.

I help organizations connect men to gender equity, effectively.

The relationship between men and DEI is at a crossroads:

DEI needs men’s engagement to succeed, but antagonize them.

Men’s issues are pressing but ignored.

Our time calls for going far beyond simplistic notions of male privilege and surface-level allyship.

An holistic approach is critical : men should be beneficiaries of gender equity too.

I speak, train and advise HR leaders who align with this diagnostic.

Let’s close the empathy gap, together.

Inclusion means everyone.

  • There are thought leaders and then there are thought leaders who walk the talk and are true role models. Ludo brings a rare combination of subject matter expertise, communication skills, and humility.

  • “Ludo is a thought leader on gender equity and masculinity. His approach inspires engagement from the seasoned practitioner, to the leader just starting out.

    — Cristina Santos - SVP Head of DEI and Engagement at Capital Group

  • “Ludo drives organizational gender equity by holding men accountable within a container of compassion and care."

Mark Greene - Author, Speaker & Founder at Remaking Manhood

My approach has three guiding principles

1) I strive to connect, not to convert

I address the larger culture of gender inequity.

I recognize the impact of historical systems on people.

I distinguish individuals from their social groups.

I do not engage in identity politics.

2) I embrace nuances and ambiguity

I thrive to close the empathy gap across genders.

I encourage holding conflicting truths simultaneously.

I challenge DEI’s ideological rigidity and partisanship.

I reject ideological bullying and extremism.

3) I recognize my humanity with humility

I research, interpret and share my observations with conviction.

I do my best and I make mistakes: I am committed to growth.

I change my mind: my views are constantly evolving.

I reject cancel culture: flaws make us humans.
